Q: How long does it take to setup and install your PACS?
A: The time frame for setup and install can be as little as one business day.
Q: Do I need to employee IT staff or hire an IT specialist to implement and support your product?
A: No. Since our solution is fully managed, we alleviate the typical burden involved with implementing and supporting a PACS and RIS.
Q: What happens in the event that our facility loses internet connection for an extended period of time?
A: In addition to being sent to our servers for archiving and web-based access, your images are stored on our local equipment. This allows for continued scanning and local access to new and past studies if there is an interruption in internet connectivity. Once your connection is restored, all new studies are routed to our servers from a local queue.
Q: How does your pricing structure work?
A: We charge a flat monthly fee based on your average number of studies assessed on a yearly basis. Our model provides for volume discounts and does not distinguish between modality types.
Q: Who owns the images?
A: Images are considered the sole property of the site from which they were created. All images are returned to said owner and purged from our system upon request.
Q: What happens if we outgrow your solution?
A: Although we like to think that our solution is dynamic enough to support all facilities, no matter their size, we respect the fact that some companies evolve to a point where they choose to bring hosting, support, and administration in-house. Since our solution is based on the NovaRad product offerings, an easy transition to their platform can be provided with no additional training needed for the end users.
